This adorable little picket fence bed is handdressed and signed by Kelly Curtis. The bed itself is handmade with a whimsical picket fence headboard and footboard, distressed and aged to perfection. Over the top of a pleated bed skirt made from a real antique linen, is the most dainty little comforter that almost looks quilted, with its floral center and ivy patterned stripes in shades of mauve, linen, and forest green. The comforter swoops down the sides of the bed and is edged in intricate lace, trim, and teeny silk ribbon bows that cascade downward with rosette centers. At the head of the bed the comforter turns down and is trimmed in an amazing lace trim, which gives the bed a shabby chic look as it contrasts against the rustic headboard. A matching bolster pillow and 3 throw pillows top off this adorable bed, trimmed in antique linen lace, braids, bunka, and even tiny crochet trimmings! Three lush throws in a vine pattern, mauve cotten, and lace puddle over the foot of the bed, and a teeny bit of lace peaks over the right corner of the footboard giving this bed such great character! Overall a charming little bed — would be an asset to any collection!
